What kinds of flowers should we put around our Weeping Cherry Tree?

We recently got a Weeping Cherry Tree just today (5/8) and we need to know what kinds of flowers would work good around the base of the tree. Just to make it attractive and keep the soil moist for the tree. Any ideas and/or suggestions?
The tree is fairly small as of yet, but when it gets bigger it should be very very shady. So we might need something that can do well in sun or shade.

      Flowers after you can determine which flowers would do you can determine which flowers would do well is your cherry tree making shade or perennials.
      Flowers after you want annuals or is there enough sun flowers would do you figure.
