What kind of flowers would be good in this weather and growing conditions?

Posted by admin
Olivia asked:

I have a tree in my front yard. I want to plant some flowers around it. Not from seed, though. I live in Michigan. The flowers would get no sun because the tree shades it. I also don’t want to have to water them every day. I like colorful flowers. Anyone know of which types of flowers would do well in that situation? Thanks.
