What is the etiquette regarding flowers and the theatre?

Friday, December 23rd, 2011
Evee T asked:

See, I want to bring my friend a bouquet when I see him on opening night, problem is - he’s a guy.
Is it okay to give flowers to a guy? He won’t think I fancy him or anything, will he? I just want to give him the flowers to say congratulations.

How long can a bouquet of flowers last without water?

Friday, December 9th, 2011
Shaun asked:

I’m planning to get flowers for my girlfriend on her birthday. The party starts at about 8.30pm. I’m planning to buy the flowers maybe around lunch time. If I just leave them somewhere in the shade without water, is there any chance they would go bad before the party which is like about 6 hours later? would they still smell and look fresh?

What kind of flowers are good to order for my wife for mother’s day?

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011
Adam asked:

Costco has a special on a bouquet for $54.99, and I love Costco, but I see Proflowers has specials much cheaper than that. My question is, what’s a good flower to order in a bouquet that the flowers will last a good while?
I’m a guy and hate to waste money on flowers when they die in a week.
Thanks.

barbaraepeck asked:

For the amount of money I have to spend here on a Bouquet of simple Tulips - I can decorate every house on a street with Tulips in Europe. I have always wondered why there are so few flowers and plants in american Houses - but I guess I understand now. I just don’t know why they cost so much?
