What are some good light pink flowers for a wedding?

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008
jennyss asked:

I’m looking for flowers for bouquets, decorations, and centerpieces. Would like to know some good flowers, preferably some I could order online and make my own arrangements. I’m getting married in May, so I’m looking for flowers that would be in bloom at that time. Thanks!

What is the plant with little white flowers?

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008
Geena asked:

I just moved to a new place(unit) and there is a kind of green plant grown in my balcony with little white flowers. I have no idea of what it is so i don’t know how to care. I’ve checked some previous questions and I am sure it is not alyssym because the flower is far smaller than alyssym. I think it is a pretty common plant cause i’ve seen them in my old place as well. They will bloom cluster of little white flowers in summer and smells great!

what flowers to use in autumn table centerpiece?

Saturday, September 27th, 2008
Michelle B asked:

I am planning a large, informal activity for our church. The theme is “Autumn Nights”. Just to give you an idea of the direction I’m going…instead of a standard refreshment table we’re doing a Caramel Apple bar, with quartered apples, a couple fondue fountains with caramel and chocolate, and some crushed nuts, butterfinger, etc…for people to dip their apples in. I am definitely going to use autumn leaves to decorate, and a full moon, but I don’t know what to use on the tables. There will be 8 - 10 small round tables and I would like to make centerpieces that are low but I don’t know where to go to get inspiration for which flowers to use or anything. Any ideas? Thanks!

I already have a flower bed in my yard and want to plant flowers. What do I do?

Sunday, September 21st, 2008
ncbrian2007 asked:

The flower bed is just filled up with dirt, weeds, and little pcs of rock. First I need to clean it out I guess but do I use the dirt that’s already in there or do put soil down? If you want to know, I live in Charlotte, NC (Zone 7). I want to plant perennial flowers. I’m new to gardening and want to know how prepare the flower bed, what type of soil I need (if necessary) and any tips on types of flowers to plant. Thanks alot!

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

I will be moving to a place and have no back yard to plant. Right outside my door, I can put a planter and I would like to plant flowers. I would like to have color throughout the year, all 4 seasons. What are good choices in New Jersey?

How much do hibiscus flowers cost?

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008
jason c asked:

I’m looking to buy my girlfriend some hibiscus flowers, no real occasion or anything, and I just want to get her a few, because they’re going to be given with other things. I live in Massachusetts, if that has any effect of the value.

I’m looking more for individual flowers, instead of any arrangement.

Neil

What flowers are good for blooming in July?

Friday, September 5th, 2008
cassandramyers08 asked:

I am having a very small reception at my mother’s house during the middle of July. She said that we could plant some bulbs and have the flowers in bloom around that time. My wedding colors are pink and chocolate with a little bit of white, so those colors would be wonderful as I would really like to skip the florist. Thank you!
